Angle Broom Attachment

Sweep a clean path economically. The hydraulically-driven angle broom quickly and efficiently sweeps away dirt, dried mud, light snow, and other debris. Use it to sweep driveways, sidewalks, parking lots, loading docks, warehouses and more. The angle broom is excellent for quick snow removal without damaging pavement surfaces. It is compact, maneuverable and easy to operate. The angle broom replaces manual labor and hand brooms, and can clean a small or large area with less effort and in less time.

How Does It Work?

The angle broom uses a hydraulically-driven, rotating broom that pushes dirt and other debris away from the machine. The two larger angle broom models have 25 degrees of angle to the left or right, and the smaller, 48-inch model has 30 degrees of angle to the left or right. The 48-inch model has a 3-position manual angle.

Features and Benefits:

  • Get as close as you want! Sweep flush to a curb or wall on the right side, for improved efficiency
  • Electric broom angle control allows for easier removal of debris by allowing the operator to increase/decrease the down force of the broom angle).
  • Operate from the comfort of the cab, using fingertip controls.
  • High-torque motor means efficient sweeping of heavier materials.
  • Proven, replaceable wafer bristle.
  • Easy Maintenance: The broom has a quick-change rotor design for fast bristle replacement. Simply remove two bolts, and the entire rotor is released.
  • Compact and highly maneuverable.
  • The storage stands help protect your investment by eliminating bristle distortion when the broom is not in use.

Operation Tips:

  • Simply lower the loader's lift arms completely and engage the hydraulics into detent position. Slowly tilt the broom until the bristles make contact with the surface. Apply a small amount of downward force to the broom by tilting forward slightly. Start moving the loader forward and the broom will sweep debris away from the front of the loader.
  • Use the left paddle to change the angle of the broom.
  • Be careful not to apply too much downward force when tilting forward, as this may cause excessive wear to the broom. This is one of the most common ways operators misuse broom and sweeper attachments. Operators often think the harder they press the bristles down, the better it will sweep. However, if you reduce the amount of down pressure on the bristles, they will actually sweep more effectively.
  • Inspect bristles for wear on a regular basis. If bristles wear down to the core, they won't be able to sweep properly.
